Moving from advocacy to action by reactivating custodial economies for harmony and sustainability with all life.

Relational economics, custodianship, imagination, trade, and mentoring.

Create global marketplace for marginalised youth to centre nature in our economies. Create alternative to mainstream school and university accreditation that has value globally. Move marginalised intelligence to the start of the design queue.

Do you want to be a part of a 10-year research project for 1000 youth to re-establish custodial economies worldwide?

The IMAGI-NATION Presidents VISA is for 12-30-year-olds who have been systemically pushed outside the margins. What we define as outside the margins is twofold, historically marginalised by societal design - e.g. Anyone that wasn’t inside the castle. And then, for young people born today, we acknowledge that even if you’re born into the castle, the climate change reality won’t discriminate. So it’s all young people that can move into this role.

The role of the IMAGI-NATION President is to re-establish custodial economies, which are nature-centred economies that prioritize the well-being of the natural world and its resources.

We know a couple of things - that custodianship is about human beings realising that our role is to be in between nature, a shepherd, a guide, a being that works in relation to everything and helps maintain the balance of life. A custodian sees the intelligence of nature and lives and learns with and from nature. A custodian knows that knowledge is not theirs to hold in isolation, that they were born from nature, that they will return to nature, and that all is in relation.

Our economic models do not centre on custodial relations, but they can. 1000 young people as IMAGI-NATION Presidents have the opportunity to re-establish custodial economies and integrate them with the current economic models we have.

The first step is to move human beings’ attention to key species, waterways, and natural ecosystems in each region and then create design models to have time in relation to nature. Then, after this, as Presidents, we have to work out how to move the money. If we can’t move the money to be in relation to nature rather than extracting from nature, then no amount of protest will move us. We have to unlock a nature-centred economy.

The IMAGI-NATION Presidents—this is your challenge. With 1,000 of you, you will seed the micro and macroeconomic futures for life on earth (with a suite of codified tools to build with).

The accreditation journey will measure the following:

  1. # of people you reconnected with to nature
  2. Time in nature accumulated
  3. $ moved to nature
  4. Sharing openly the design and process for network health score

The challenge is how do we move $800B back to nature? Where should we look for the answers? To another set of endless impact firms from the same schools and minds? Or it's time to put the power into the hands of the young people inheriting this earth. To show how to move our attention and intention back into our relationship with nature? To spark the movement of IP back to nature? To translate old, long-running science and intelligence into modern design frames, from songlines to modern libraries on the internet, mapped to nature? To solve the BIO regional marketplace challenge? To re-pattern the path?

Outcomes from the 1000 IMAGI-NATION Presidents project include:

  1. KOLAB 10 years Ko-created ‘how to’ book to show future generations of young people how to establish the custodial economies that saved our planet
  2. Attention moved back to nature
  3. $ moved back to nature
  4. Development of a  healthy social network that utilises new rules for learning and connection
  5. Land & its bioregion health secured - network health scores
  6. Humans re-established custodial roles & established intelligence transfer with nature.
  7. Moving young people from protest to impact within action-based relational networks
