How do you know the AIME Program is having a positive impact?

Since the first year of the program teachers, schools and the students themselves have offered anecdotal evidence in relation to increases in student attendance and participation in class, and also on student changes in attitude to education after attending AIME.

We compare AIME student transition and progression rates with the data available for the same or a similar cohort of Indigenous and non-Indigenous who do not participate in the AIME program.

We also compare our year 12 completion and attainment rates with other Indigenous and non-Indigenous year 12 students nationally.

In addition our students are surveyed for research purposes, for example, in relation to their educational goals and life aspirations.  See our reports.
